The Simmons Murray River Drop Top Pillow Top is the softest of the Murray River models with a comfort scale rating of 6. The Murray River Drop Top Pillow Top mattress still uses the 8" 22ILD Soy Foam core, but it adds 3" of the 14ILD Dunlop Latex for extra comfort. The 1.5" convoluted foam in the upper padding layers also add to making this mattress softer. However, with a comfort scale rating of 6, this mattress will still have a good amount of firm support coming from the 8" core. This model will get you more latex and a softer feel than the entry level Bedgebury Forest, but if you wish to have a model that includes more latex, then jump up to the Gannett Peak which will use the largest amount of latex out of all Simmons Natural Care mattresses.
